Adelaide L. Asante

Ms. Adelaide Lartebea Asante holds an EMBA in Human Resource Management from the University of Ghana Business School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Ghana. Prior to working with University of Ghana, she worked as a Personal Assistant to a Barrister at Law, Wings of Justice International (London) and was a Customer Service Assistant at ASDA retail store in the United Kingdom.

She worked with the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) as the Graduate Programmes Officer in charge of students’ affairs. She also worked with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) during the 7th Network Meeting of the Centres of African Excellence International Conference and the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) during the Policy-Oriented Economic Modelling Training Course as the Project Administrator. She has attended a number of seminars, workshops and conferences. She provided administrative support in organizing some Conferences, Short courses and Seminars at ISSER (i.e. Launch of the State of the Ghanaian Economy reports and the launch of the Social Development Outlook reports) since 2008.

Currently, she works with CEGENSA where she provides administrative support and assists the Director with research activities for effective running of the Centre. She represented the Centre during the Women’s dialogue forum organized by WILDAF and MASHAV (Israel Embassy) which sort to create and maintain a platform for knowledge sharing and networking between organisations in Ghana.

She is passionate about areas bothering on employee-engagement and industrial relations, employee development, domestic violence against women and children and sexual harassment issues.
