Brief Profile

Dr. Doreen Owusu Fianko was appointed as a management committee member for the Centre for Gender Studies and Advocacy (GECENSA) in 2021. She is a Chartered Fellow of CILT, Chairperson of WiLAT Ghana, and a member of the Governing Council of CILT Ghana. Having worked in the Aviation and Tourism industries for over 40 years, she served as a role model and mentored young women in the industry. Her position on the Ghana CILT Governing Council has given her a lot of exposure to the outer world, and has made it possible for a lot of potential members both female and male to reach out to her for consultations on joining the industry and the Institute.
