Dr. Aminatou Kone is an Associate Professor in Molecular Biology at the University of Sciences, Techniques, and Technologies of Bamako. Her research foci include Molecular Biology, Genetics and Genomics, and Parasitology. Professor Kone has also been studying Malaria resistance to artemisinin and partner drugs. Her current research is focused on the comprehension of human and malaria parasite factors involved in resistance development in Africa.
