Brief Profile
She is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Gender Studies and Advocacy, University of Ghana. She holds an MPhil and a Ph.D. in African Studies from the University of Ghana. A Social Anthropologist, her research interest is broadly situated in the production and distribution of power in institutional, intimate and familial spaces and its implications, especially for women. Dr. Kyere serves as co-editor for the Critical Investigation into Humanitarianism (Ciha) blog and is a member of the Editorial Team for Feminist Africa.
