Mr. Yao Soungalo is a Senior Technical Advisor at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) program based in Burkina Faso. He is an expert in diplomacy and international relations, as well as specialized knowledge in several areas of health coordination, health policies and planning, social issues, and health, training, and capacity development. Throughout his professional trajectory, he has occupied various roles in several non-governmental organizations (NGOs) at both national and international levels. These include United Nations (UN) programs such as UNESCO, UNDP, UNV, and UNCTAD in Africa.
